STONE BARN ARTS
Ceramics Studio. Art Gallery. Artists Retreat.
Stone Barn Arts is located in Northern Wisconsin on the Fortuna Family Century Farm in Rusk County. It features a beautifully restored stone barn, a renovated farm house and 80 acres of prairie, woods and wetlands. Delores Fortuna is the third generation on her family's Centennial farm. In 1919, her grandfather, a Polish immigrant, traveled from a collapsed mine in Pennsylvania to northern Wisconsin and purchased the farm. Along with establishing Stone Barn Arts, Delores is also turning the land into a conservancy—bringing back birds, marshland and hardwood trees to the area. Listen to an interview with Delores and learn some of the farm's history here.
